Was there an insured event?

Our article was published in the industry-leading journal Modern Legal Technology (Issue 4 (69) 2018). A standard question in judicial disputes associated with agricultural business insurance is, "Was there an insured event?" Difficulties proving a case often arise from specific insured event structure in agricultural business insurance and the need to consider many subtleties. We tried to briefly cover this matter based on our expertise and judicial practice.
