AKS Legal Participated in the XXV International Insurance Academic and Research Conference

On 4 June 2024, AKS Legal took part in the XXV International Academic and Research Conference “Insurance Culture Formation: Financial Education and Responsible Business”.

The Conference is held by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and supported by the Russian National Union of Insurers.

Discussions at the conference focused on the most relevant insurance issues in Russia – sustainability principles, re-insurance challenges, bank insurance, new trends in life insurance, and development of mass dwelling insurance market in Russia.

Kira Svintsova, partner at AKS Legal, was speaking in the “Insurance Markets, Types, and Products” section about the types and development prospects of agricultural insurance in Russia.

Ruslan Kozhevnikov, Head of Insurance Law Practice at AKS Legal, offered insights into business interruption insurance at the conference's "Younger School of Thought. Postgraduate Workshop" section.
